Like many of us, I pre-ordered {2} the soon to be released PL 1/1000 A-series Enterprise kit...1 st they said late fall, then december, now...? Any updates for the new release date? The more I drool over my Jackhill A-series book, the more kits I think I'm going to need!!! My book won't hold out too much longer...tell em to hurry please!

Oh, what's going on with the "clear version" of the D-series ship?
Happy new year!

Don't know anything more on the clear D.

I just purchased my first of many 1/1000 USS Enterprise Refits directly from Polar Lights today (Feb18). I am also getting a couple from Steve when he gets his in.

Got mine, everything fits very well together. I did notice there are a couple minor mistakes in the instructions. kudos to you if you find them.
One thing that's bothering me is that it says the darker panels on the underside of the saucer section should be painted testors green prior to azteking.

I like the fact that they say to base paint with a pearl white, but give no reference as to what paint to use...guess model master or testors needs to fill that color void!
I do like the decals though....now, how to light it!

The lil "to be realeased" sheet in the A series kit shows a time frame for releases and the Enterprise D is shown as 2nd quarter release..."so they say"!{yeah, I know...expect delays}...I'll wait for a clear edition!
